Loader Hydraulic Cylinders
Your Reliable Supplier of Loader Hydraulic Cylinders
We have been making cylinders for different types of loaders, including wheel loaders and skid-steer loaders for many years, so we have a lot of experience in this area. We once helped a customer solve an oil leakage problem caused by high-frequency vibration. The original cylinder worked under 40~60Hz continuous vibration, which caused the guide sleeve to loosen and seals to fail. We changed the connection design, replaced the threaded connection between the guide sleeve and cylinder head with lock keys and retaining rings, we also upgraded the piston rod seal from single-lip to double-lip type. The new design prevents loosening under high-frequency vibration, and the double seals work better to stop oil leaks. After the modification, the cylinder ran stably for over 4,500 hours without leakage.
Can customize production based on your drawings and actual working conditions. We also offer technical consultation and working condition analysis. If needed, we can even provide optimization suggestions.

Applications of Loader Hydraulic Cylinders

Boom Lifting and Lowering
Loader hydraulic cylinder is used for boom lifting and lowering, through hydraulic oil pushes the piston rod out, turning the boom around its hinge point to lift the load. When the piston rod retracts, it pulls the boom down smoothly. The cylinder is equipped with hydraulic control valves that can adjust oil flow. This stops the boom from shaking during lifting and lowering, reduces material down, and keeps the machine running steadily.

Bucket Dumping and Crowding
Loader hydraulic cylinder is used for bucket dumping and curling. High-pressure oil enters the cap end to extend and retract the piston rod, rotating the bucket around the hinge point , make material dump forward and curl the bucket back for loading. The piston rod is made of 42CrMo high-strength alloy steel, and the cylinder tube uses 27SiMn alloy seamless steel pipe. This materials have excellent impact resistance, can withstand sudden shock loads during scooping.

Bucket Leveling and Resetting
Loader hydraulic cylinder is used for automatic bucket leveling and resetting. Hydraulic oil pushes the piston rod out to make the bucket back to a flat position. Once it reaches the set position, a travel valve will cut off the oil flow, stopping the cylinder so the bucket resets automatically. The cylinder barrel is precision machined through rough boring and honing, so the cylinder has low working stroke error, this ensure bucket returns to the exact position .

Steering Axle Swing Locking
This loader hydraulic cylinder is also used in swing locking of the steer axle. It mounts between the steering axle and the frame. When the rod extends and retracts, it moves the lock pin in and out of the locking hole, locking or unlocking the steer axle. The cylinder has a short stroke, so can finish movement within 0.3 seconds. When driving on steep slopes or slippery roads, the operator can lock the axle right away without stopping the machine.

Attachment Gripping and Clamping
Loader hydraulic cylinder is used for attachment clamping and grabbing. The cylinder hinges to the grab arms at both ends. As the piston rod extends, the clamp arms close to grip materials. When it retracts, the arms open to release the load. The cylinder uses a combined seal set of Glyd rings and Step seals. It can maintain stable sealing performance under repeated open-close cycles.

Cabin Tilting for Maintenance Access
Loader hydraulic cylinder is used in cab tilting. Oil pressure pushes the rod out to lift and lock the cab. To reset it, open the relief valve, and depend the cab's weight lets the cylinder retract slowly. The cylinder has a mechanical lock ring inside, If the cylinder fails, it locks quickly to stop the cab from dropping and protect operators.
Rod Micro-Bending Under Shock Overload
When a loader suddenly digs into a rock pile, the bucket takes a heavy hit, sending strong impact force to the piston rod. This heavy impact can cause invisible bending on the piston rod of standard cylinders. The bent rod will wear out seals, increase internal leakage and reduce the cylinder’s pushing force.
The guide sleeve supports the piston rod when it extends during work. So we lengthen the guide sleeve to offer better support and improve the rod’s resistance to bending. The rod is made of 42CrMo high-strength alloy steel and goes through deep ion nit-riding treatment .After that its surface hardness reaches over 650HV. This helps it withstand heavy impact, prevent rod bending, and avoid seal wear and internal leakage.

End-of-Stroke Cushioning Failure Causing Hard Impact
When the loaded boom drops quickly, the piston moves at high speed toward the cylinder end cap. If there's no cushioning inside the cylinder, the piston will hit the cylinder bottom hard. This impact creates huge force, making the machine shake and disturbing the operator. It may also cause weld cracking.
To prevent this, we fit a multi-stage cushion plunger inside the cylinder. It uses three part design with two tapered surfaces plus one cylindrical section. It slows the piston step by step: first gentle speed reduction, then rapid throttling, and finally smooth braking. The piston slows to a stop before it hits the end cap. This prevents impact and protects the machine and cylinder from damage.
Non-Universal Replacement Mounting Dimensions for After-Sales Service
In market there have many types loader models, so cylinders have big differences in mounting dimensions and port specifications. A standard cylinder often cannot be fitted directly. Customers have to change parts on site after receiving the cylinder, which adds extra costs and machine downtime. Even it can be mounted, it may have dimensional errorsand affect equipment using.
Our solution is simple. we take the machine model and key dimensions from the customer, then work out the right mounting distance, earring width, pin hole diameter, and we produce cylinders using these figures. Make sure the cylinder can be installed directly when it arrives, and it don’t need to make any modifications on site. This reduces machine downtime.
